Sustainability/Green Energy Referral System
- GGEC will provide members with a
referral database consisting of solutions providers,
building owners, developers, managers, and energy market
managers.
Educational Offerings:
San Diego State University's College
of Extended Studies (CES), a leader in continuing
education of both online and face-to-face programs, has
become the educational partner of Globally Green Energy
Consortium. The College offers two new online green
industry certificate programs: Green Building
Construction and Renewable Energy and Green Energy
Management. Students in these programs learn how to
secure their competitive position in the industry while
studying in an online environment available to them 24/7
that is taught by industry experts.
Courses are online and given year-round.
To complete the Online Professional Certificate in
Renewable Energy and Green Energy Management take the
following: Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning
(HVAC) for Green Buildings, Introduction to Green
Thermal Systems, Energy Conversion and Management, HVAC
for Green Buildings, Solar Energy Conversion, and
Renewable Energy Sources.
Online Professional Certificate in Green Building
Construction includes five courses: Fundamentals of
Green Building Design and Construction, Building Green
Buildings, Building Information Modeling (BIM) with an
Emphasis on Green Construction, Construction Materials
and Processes, and LEED for New Construction - Applying
the Guidelines.
